2002 Western Conference Finals [7]GAME 7 Once again the ticky tack fouls continued on Shaquille O'Neal, where he was frequently sent to the FT line and making his FT's at an amazing 74% (50% lifetime shooter) due to stepping over the FT line on his follow through. In 2001 Mark Cuban saw that this was a violation and it was called on Shaq every time he did it. But in the 2002 WCF's, the referees let it go. When Shaq faced Mark Cuban again in the 2006 NBA Finals (a Finals that has been considered as controversial as the 2002 WCF's), he stayed behind the line every time and shot a horrid 46%. However Lakers fans continue to this day insist his FT's were legal by commenting incorrectly on Part 6 of The Greatest Tragedy in Sports - youtu.be - that Shaq was not in violation even though his foot was over the line before the ball hit the rim. It's just one of the many double standards that the Kings faced over and over again during that series. I don't know really how I got here other than the fact that I felt compelled to make a video voicing my frustrations on the NBA titled, "Why the NBA is declining" on 6/11/08 that went viral for about 2 seconds. It was featured on CNNSI.com and was talked about everywhere from blogs to Jim Rome the day after Tim Donaghy alleged game 6, 2002 was fixed. It got 20000 views in one day which still is my most ever for such a short period of time. That was when youtube gave underdogs a chance with their old layouts that cease to exist anymore. Now it is impossible to get noticed ...more info

Stephon Marbury - Mr. StarburyStephon Xavier Marbury (born February 20, 1977 in Brooklyn, New York) is an American professional basketball player, currently playing point guard with the New York Knicks. Marbury was an NBA All-Star in 2001 and 2003 and an All-NBA Third Team member in 2003. He is known for his quickness, ball handling, flashy moves and perimeter scoring. His career averages are 19.9 ppg and 7.9 apg. Marbury was selected fourth overall by the Milwaukee Bucks in the 1996 NBA Draft, then traded to the Minnesota Timberwolves for the draft rights to Ray Allen (who was drafted immediately after him) and a future first-round pick. In his first season in the league, Marbury averaged 15.8 points and 7.8 assists per game and was named to the 1997 All-Rookie Team. He, along with Kevin Garnett, led the Timberwolves to the NBA Playoffs in 1997 and 1998. Marbury is the cousin of current Minnesota Timberwolves point guard Sebastian Telfair. He has been named to The Sporting News list of "Good Guys in Sports" three times. Recently, Marbury partnered with Steve & Barry's to promote a line of shoes and clothing bearing his nickname, "Starbury". Understanding the pressure that inner-city kids face to spend $150-$200 on footwear sold by other companies such as Nike, Reebok, and Adidas, his line of shoes sells for $14.98. He wore these shoes on court for the entirety of 2006-07 season. Marbury is not paid directly to endorse the shoes, but is compensated based on sales of the shoes. Now, Marbury has ...more info

Michael Jordans Greatest Dunks !!!Michael Jeffrey Jordan (born February 17, 1963) is a retired American professional basketball player and active businessman. He is widely considered the greatest basketball player of all time, and was among the most effectively marketed athletes of his generation. Jordan was instrumental in popularizing the National Basketball Association (NBA) around the world in the 1980s and 1990s. After a stand-out career at the University of North Carolina, Jordan joined the NBA's Chicago Bulls in 1984. He quickly emerged as one of the stars of the league, entertaining crowds with his prolific scoring. His leaping ability, illustrated by performing slam dunks from the free throw line at Slam Dunk Contests, earned him the nicknames "Air Jordan" and "His Airness". He also gained a reputation as one of the best defensive players in basketball. In 1991, he won his first NBA championship with the Bulls, and followed that achievement with titles in 1992 and 1993, securing a "three-peat". Though Jordan abruptly left the NBA in October 1993 to pursue a career in baseball, he rejoined the Bulls in 1995 and led them to three additional championships (1996, 1997, and 1998). His 1995--96 Bulls team won an NBA-record 72 regular-season games. Jordan retired for a second time in 1999, but he returned for two more NBA seasons as a member of the Washington Wizards. Jordan's individual accolades and accomplishments include five NBA MVP (Most Valuable Player) awards, ten All-NBA First Team designations ...more info

Chauncey Billups - Mr. Big ShotChauncey Ray Billups (born September 25, 1976, in Denver, Colorado) is an American professional basketball player. Billups is the starting point guard and team captain for the National Basketball Association's Detroit Pistons. He played college basketball at the University of Colorado, where he was honored in 2004 as the fifth player to have his jersey (number 4) retired. His nickname is "Mr. Big Shot." He was the 2004 NBA Finals Most Valuable Player. He is also currently a member of the United States men's national basketball team that will compete in the 2008 Summer Olympics. Drafted third overall in the 1997 NBA Draft by the Boston Celtics, Billups was traded to the Toronto Raptors in exchange for Kenny Anderson midway through his first season. Billups then played for the Denver Nuggets, who traded him to the Orlando Magic, although he was on the injured list until season's end and never played a game for Orlando (he was included on the season-ending team photo, wearing jersey number 2). He was signed by the Minnesota Timberwolves as a back-up to then point guard Terrell Brandon. Billups replaced the often-injured Brandon and had a breakthrough 2001-2002 season. In June 2002 Billups signed with the Detroit Pistons as a free agent to be the team's new starting point guard. When he signed with the Pistons, Billups was forced to take the number 1 (Ironically, Pistons number 1 jersey was originally worn by Lindsey Hunter before he was once traded away) because number 4 was ...more info

Derek Fisher - "Never Let Me Down"FOLLOW ME ON TWITTER: @versiononemusic Having played 13 of his 16 NBA seasons with the Los Angeles Lakers, Derek Fisher became a fan favorite and all-time Laker great with a variety of memorable moments displaying his ability to come through in the clutch. When he was sent to the Houston Rockets at this year's trade deadline, it was a shock to most fans across the nation. Although he is now a member of the Oklahoma City Thunder, he was always be a Laker for life. This video captures the entire run of Fisher's career with the Lakers, from being drafted with the 24th pick in the 1996 NBA Draft to winning 5 championships in the purple and gold. Inspired by the Derek Fisher video tribute edited by Paul Nankivell and played at STAPLES Center prior to the Lakers-Thunder game on March 28th, I decided to make one of my own and expand on the use of Kanye West's "Never Let Me Down" in Nankivell's tribute as a theme for Fisher's will and determination to always make a big play when it mattered. Being a lifelong Laker fan, I had a great time putting this mix together as it took me back through the three-peat I got to experience growing up as well as the team's back-to-back title run in 2009 and 2010. Derek Fisher has always been one of my favorite players and will never be forgotten as a Laker. NBA 2K12 ONLINE SUCKS! (TOO MANY 3 POINTERS, MUST SEE!) RAY ALLEN DROPS 62!NOTE : ONLINE CLIPS, NO GAME SLIDERS. THIS IS A RANKED GAME. In my opinion I think that NBA 2K12 online is very bad. It's just too easy to come up court and pull up three's with any player. Its almost like every player is the whole Dallas Maverick team put together behind the three point line, IVE EVEN SEEN RAJON RONDO MAKE 3 THREE POINTERS IN A ROW! and it really takes the fun out of the game. And the crazy part about it is that I didnt sub ray allen out ONCE. He stayed in the WHOLE game, and the whole time I was sprinting up court shooting threes. They also have it to hard to get to the paint. This year I think they spent too much time focusing on the Legendary Mode, Graphics, Faces, and My Player, when they should be focusing on the online gameplay because thats what brings all the money. I dropped 62 points with Ray Allen , the rest of the team had 0 points. It makes no sense, and 2kSports needs to fix this next year if they cant update it and fix it this year!
